For my own MFA Thesis Project, I worked towards branding my own Risograph Printing Press. I experimented with different names, logo lockups, and collateral that would continously grow into a body of work that would come to represent my love of Risograph Printing

The name “Misfit Press” is inpsired by other misfits in pop-culture such as Bart Simpson, Kevin McCallister, and other bad-boys. These characters are charming because they are good at being bad. In much the same way, every Risograph print is imperfect for a variety of reasons. But it is exactly because of these unavoidable imperfections that they are unique and endearing.
