The Senator (and Charles) Theaters in Baltimore, Maryland host seasonal showings of historic films on their original 35mm tapes. This series was a collaboration between myself and graphic designer Shiva Nallaperumal of Novembver, a Mumbai-based graphic design studio operated by Shiva and Juhi Vishnani. Shiva is primarily a typographically focused designer with a love of cinema. Together we collaborated on color palettes, finishing trims and other ways to best communicate the films through the medium of Risograph printing.
